Ted has added an incredible number of features in the last year or so, and almost all of us have requests for more. Mine is better visibility because my eyes are so bad. They're all important to those of us that want them, but something has to be on the backburner. I suspect he prioritizes by what's easiest to do, what's most in demand and what he wants personally. However he does it, its his masterpiece and I'm enjoying watching the changes even though I can't use it for my day to day software yet. It's getting there. Dick

I personally would have more of an interest in Teds program if he had this feature. socantra: Quote:
Dick, I personally gave Ted various file formats 2 years ago and I know for a fact he was aware of this. However, to me it is a mute point because I am no longer priveledged to be a beta tester. shoeless: Quote:
It is up to Ted to comply with popular demand. If he can't do it, let him say so. |

Jeff,
A more apt metaphor would be that my stove has several dozen burners, all of which seem to be simmering with something at the moment. If not the back burner, SYN files are near the back, because I myself never used that software, and also because only a couple of people out of the nearly 100 RDSS users (or enquiries) have asked me about them. I do gratefully acknowledge the file formats sent me by Partsnut, and I would like to include that export some day, but more people are waiting on a number of other things first (toteboard, chart use, profiling, modeling, printing, Match Up features), while (in general) reporting good success with the handicapping tools already provided by RDSS. I do wish you success with Synergism, and with RDSS! Partsnut, You are welcomed to use RDSS at any time! If I misunderstood your last email to me, my apologies. All anyone has to do is ask, then act. best wishes, Ted

I have been working on widening the screens to maximum screen width, thus also permitting larger fonts. Info is looming off the page a bit better now, and I'll post a few examples soon. Need to clean up some goofy behaviour, but it's one of the things I plan for the next (mega) update. (A 20 or 22 inch screen really helps ) yours, Ted

The 19" monitors are droping into my price range, but I have a feeling the security guys at my Indian casino OTB would 'tilt' if I showed up with laptop and monitor both. Maybe its time to set up a desktop for home use again. Dick
