*Request for Reports to Doc*
I want to gather a collection of races won using RDSS to send to Doc Sartin to give him a feel for its effectiveness at longer odds.
All RDSS testers are invited to submit a few races which they handicapped where the winner paid at least $9.00 and ranked in the Top 3 BL/BL (presumably Top 2 V/DC). If you find that you use another readout or readouts other than BL/BL for your final wager selection, that's fine too. 1. Either post a screenshot of the BL/BL page including the track, date and race info, OR 2. just state the race, your final contenders and pacelines chosen so I can recreate a screenshot. 3. state whether you used Val4 or Spec160 mode 4. state who the winner was and the win mutuel (I can double-check mutuels) 5. feel free to include where you also got the place horse, and any exacta or trifecta mutuels Please don't include races from the Summer Stakes Contest: I already have these and will include the complete lot of them (low paying favourites included). Per Froggy's reports (and my own) RDSS (and Val and Spec) has performed outstandingly in this series of races! Can I please have your submissions by August 17. I want to be able to impress upon him that RDSS is capable of getting the same longer priced winners which Validator was when he last left it. If you primarily use RDSS for the Match Up process, please feel free to also send along some races representative of your successes. As Bill had pointed out elsewhere, Doc has been very uplifted to hear of everybody's love and best wishes, and I know he will be very interested to hear of everyone's successes This is a follow up study to one I conducted last Summer to prove that Val4 had been successfully resurrected, with which he was mightily impressed. Thanks to all of you! yours, Ted |

Thanks Bill, and congrats. I think there's something a bit wonky with 8.3 distances (i.e. the #5). That's where the differences in adjusted times begins, resulting in small differences in SR and some other factors, then rankigns, then BLBL. Someone else reported this quite recently. I'm on it.

TED:
I have two from this weekend. I am running in spec mode. Sar, 8/11, R7 contenders were 2,5,6,9,10. Used last line for 2,6,9 and 2nd line for 5 and 10. BL/Bl top three were 2,5,6. Top two VDC were 2,9,6 (tie for 1st) 6 won and paid $87.50, 32.80, 13.00. 2 ran second and paid 13.80, 7.70. 10 ran third and paid 5.60. exacta paid 1,030 and tri paid 10,148. I was playing the contest at Delaware. Needless to say I was on the leaderboard all day with RDSS, althgough I did not win after betting large in the last race at Calder and losing a very close one with the #2 who just got beat at the wire at 6-1. I had a few bombs yesterday. SAR, 8/12, R9 contenders were 1,3,4,6,7. Used second line for 3 and 6. Used line 7 for 1, line 6 for 4 and line 5 for 7. Top three BL/BL were 3,6,1 and top two VDC were 3,6,1 (tie for second). 3 won and paid 29.60, 12.00, 6.90. 6 ran second and paid 5.20, 3.70. 7 ran third and paid 3.60. Exacta paid $154.00 and trifecta paid 976.00. I bet the race in NHC Qualify contest and finished 15th on the day. Tell Doc I said RDSS is a great tool used alone or in conjunction with other programs. Gary L. Last edited by Rxlawyer; 08-12-2007 at 11:38 PM. |

Thank you very much Gary! I'll write it up and post the final document here before sending it off next weekend.
Some fancy 'capping Gary. I'm pretty sure you'll hit the board any day soon! I'll be sure to pass on your comments to Doc. Ted |
