The Hat and Rdss
Anyone that is using Rdss for matchup working of races here is how Jim wanted me to setup the screens when I would work races with him Fwiw. Posting this now and here after getting 2 emails in last 4 days ok?
1) Leave the top panel "Original" 2) Set the middle panel on "Tandems". He INSISTED I do this EVERY RACE. 3) Use the bottom panel to "stack lines" on a horse (s) and then after seeing them begin elimination process. Now to be HONEST I came to find out within the past 4 months that he does NOT work races the way he taught me . He does things that are virtually impossible to explain and rationalize and needed a way to get my "head in the game". Once he laid out EVERYTHING about what he REALLY does when looking at a race and I told him I wanted to try to do it he INSISTED I lay out the program using steps 1 and 2 above. NOTHING else and just match horse vs. horse beginning with the first horse in the race. THAT is Jim's way of working races. ok

Jeff
It means using more than ONE pace line to evaluate a horse that's all. Example: Todays proj pace is a 22.0 - 45.0 Horse #3 shows a race against that pace where POSITIONALLY he ran 2-1-1 and shows ANOTHER race where against the same proj pace POSITIONS of 5-2-1 I will enter both those lines so I can "see them together" or "stacked" so I know if I am looking for Other than early for the win THIS horse is a very versatile guy who can win from different 1c and 2c POSITIONS.
