Same data ?

Hi Ted

Dad and I are going to Monmouth Park on Sunday
I downloaded Monmouth at about 8.00 PM Saturday
onto my at home labtop
Since we are going I also downloaded
it into my track laptop at about 9.30 pm

On one computer horse 7 gets a 80 speed rating for line 3
on the other computer horse 7 gets a 79 speed rating

maybe the horse ran a 79.5 and on one computer it rounded up
and the other it rounded down

Hi, I noticed something else weird. On line 5 under the 6 furlong time the horse has a 112.1 and the top horse has a slower time of 1:12.3 but the yellow mark that represents the 3rd best is not on the right horse. It should be on the 5th line not the 1st line. That's strange too.

Is it a case of Intel vs. AMD processors?

Bill,

Using some sleight-of-hand I can show the Adjusted SR with 1 decimal and you are correct: the actual value was 79.5. One computer rounded it up and the other rounded it down, just like Charles suggested! OR - since you are using slightly different RDSS versions on each computer (V0.98.6 versus 0.98.6c - the testing version I sent you), perhaps the compilation of each version of the software is the culprit. It would be interesting if you upgraded the 0.98.6c version to the final version for this release (0.98.6) and then tried that screen again.

However, per Doug's observation about the mis-ranking of the Adjusted 2nd call 5th versus 1st lines - have no explanation right now, but will study it further and try to report back.
