LAD Jan 12 Race 8
Can anyone familiar with this track give me some input here? Before hides I get some strong pointers to the 2 and 8. After hides, same reading. The 2 here is ML 20/1 but from what he shows he'll go off at better than 40/1 and he could just take this race. Here are my pacelines.
Any input would be appreciated. Charlie Last edited by cprescigno; 01-10-2006 at 10:50 PM. |

Thanks Chip. I'm sure the 2 horse can take this race. I'm only concerned with whether he actually wants to take the race. The best performance out of him so far is a Place ten races back. He has three shows but he can run with this bunch and I think take this race. I'm going to post up the rest of the screens I am using for this race. I have about five. I usually work with three at most. Here I keep looking for more and keep coming up with the same answer whcih should be a good thing.
I'd still appreciate any input from someone who has some data on this track. I'm pretty new to it though I did well there on Sunday. Not great but it was profitable and I was pretty accurate. Charlie Last edited by cprescigno; 01-12-2006 at 12:53 AM. |

LAD Jan 12 Race 8 BL/BL Screen
I guess that 2 horse wasn't such a well kept secret after all. They bet him down to 4/1. He paid $10.40 and we'll take those all day long. I should have place bet the 4 but I didn't though I hit the Exacta for $10.00 so it was profitable. RESULTS Win 2 $10.40 Place 4 9.00 Show 6 3.40 Exacta 2-4 $85.40 I wound up using the Decel numbers to go with the 2-4 combination. I had the 2-4-1 and 2-4-1-5 Last edited by cprescigno; 01-12-2006 at 05:08 PM. |

Hi Charlie,
just worked the 8th race. Your 2 looks good to me. The 8 is extreme early to me kinda a negative the 5 looks very good the 6 is ML fav who has back numbers if he improves to will crush the field BUT he does not seem the same animal the 7 even though he is 5th tier is top 3 tot energy top fx lot of good things for a 5th ranked horse to be honest boy you picked a doozy Win bets 2 and 5 good luck! |

Thanks for the input Chip. I don't know where I'm goiing with this yet but I can definitely see a win/place/show bet on the 2 horse. If he doesn't take the race he should still be in the money. Seems a safe bet.
I'm with you on the 6, doesn't seem the same horse coming back after that layoff. I'm hoping the public likes him a lot! Still looking at the 8 and also the 5. The 7 is just off the board on Spec but I've looked all of them over before hides and he could be there also. Whatever happens it will be ineresting and maybe we'll make a couple of bucks. I'm figuring no one sees the 2 and his odds approach his last two races. Good Luck, Charlie |
