Sunday Stakes Woodbine Bold Venture
I thought I would put up this race for Sunday at Woodbine the 7th a 6.5 furlong event. One of the prohibitive favorites the 1 is coming from Monmouth so wondered how a dirt line would fare against the poly lines from Woodbine.I got the race down to 3 horses and threw out the ML favorite the 2 horse. For my 3 contenders I used their last line all at 6 furlongs.Dont mean to overlap the contest but maybe some not participating would be interested.

Jeff, Nice choice for an interesting race.
I ran this race with PaceAppraiser and this is how I would play it. I would bet the (1) to win. The (5) would be my second choice. The (4) would be my third choice. |

While we are on this race I also wanted to get people's view on what paceline they would pick for the 2 horse the ML favorite.Sorry for the small print but I wanted to get the DTV in there.

I like to go with one of the last 2 pacelines and I went with the 2nd one.The reasoning was I didnt see any other line off of a 43.3 and the track variant was a 3 that day.Even though quite a few people here have made good points to me like Richie and Pino about them I just cant break the habit of letting them influence me.Jeff

Don't play Woodbine Jeff, but fwiw, Line one looks quicker than the norm, so i'd probably be wary, Line two looks pedestrian compared to norm, GP lines no good, so back to Oct, Nov for me
