I did not include the Dubai winner Mub-whatever. As a presser he ran the equivalent of a 37.59 time from 3/4 pole to 9 F mark off of a 139.51 mile time. He appeared to be geared down at the finish, but this split time is, at best, equal to the split time of horses that have gained against low 134 to mid 135 mile times!! I just don't see it!

Neither can I. It should be somewhere in the Hat Check area but I searched for "positioning" and a few others and it would not come up.

The Derby
many thanks atkinsrr for the scratches.
The weather forecast is good and if we assume the pace to be a 1:37 mile. The following colts should be in contention at the second call point: #10 Firing Line, #8 Dortmund, #2 Carpe Diem, #18 American Pharoah. And for the exotics, the greatest uncertaintly is perhaps the overseas visitor, #6 Mubtaahij. This one should not be underestimated. Good luck and good skills, DSL |
