Sorry Bill, I was too late to fix them, does this mean that the bets are cancelled? if so than I still have 2 races left or is that it.

No

Hi Alex
No your in good shape
The rules say I have to take the 3rd selection away
and put the money on your first two selections

in your case it helped you as your bets became $50
place on two horses and today you hit both of your races

Both #6 and #7 in race 6
and #8 in race 8

Nice work ,

Hi Bill,
Thank you for helping me out.
I do not agree on not using place bets, there is lots of good money in them especially when there is a lone low odds horse in the race and the others are all over 6/1. I hide the low odds horse and look for one to place and the payoff could be awesome. I had one on Churchill in real life that paid $14 to place while the winner only paid 2.60. When you bet 2 horses to win, you can only win on 1 horse but when you bet on 2 horses to place you can win on both of them.
Keep up the good work and congrats on your first place standings.
