Looks like it was a pretty tough day at Tampa Bay today Chip. I took a look at that 7th race. Not sure how anyone comes up with the 2 to win it. The 1 horse beat him their last out with the 2 coming in 5th. Then the 2 runs one turf race before this one and finishes 5th. Today he comes back and beats the 1 horse. And unless you give the 7 his best line ever coming off the layoff you can't get him in the mix.
This was one tough race. I'm looking at some of the others now to get an idea of how the track was. Tough one, Charlie |

5th off the turf
The winner #9 had the only useable dirt route lines...a STANDOUT from different tracks and was a recent claim

7th had order within it as well
when a shorter sprint has a narrow range of total energy, it is wise to look at the e/l screen for long shots as the screen shot shows the top two e/ls ran first and second.

Trouble
Mr Tompkins
Can you please fill in some of the blanks or send me a decoder ring to make sence of your race 7 post I see in the random lines you posted a wide range of Total Energy from a low of 162 to a high of 167 What exactly are you talking about narrow range Here is a clear screen shot maybe you can be bit more curtious and perhaps tell us what you mean ? Top 2 on the Late/Early who would that be ? Maybe point out that there were no scratches in the race, yet I don't see lines for a few horse who I myself would have used. This looks like a cheap Redboard Hey I can say I had a $29.00 horse in a race Chip lost con Job The ball is in your court Last edited by Binder; 02-01-2006 at 07:06 PM. |

Here is the Late/Early screen from that 7th race at Tampa Bay.
I still think picking the 2 to win was a tough one since the 1 beat him a month earlier. And I coudn't even get the 7 horse (Show) on the scope. Wagercapping may have gotten a win bet on the 2 horse at ML 15/1. He did pay a nice price but just like thie E/L Sceen most of the readings were strong on the 6 horse and then the 1. I think I did a win/win on the 6/1 or maybe just the 1 with the odds on the 6 horse being low and boxed an exacta. 6-1 with a Tri 6-1-2. Whatever the case I missed this one. Maybe I'll make a comeback at Evangeline tonight. Charlie |

Included is a screen shot of the PA filter by second call....I rarely, if ever look at Bl/BL or much other than screen 1, 5 and the e/l in spec..."Thin slicing" as I learned from the book BLINK by Malcolm Gladwell.
