22.8/46.1 I like the 2 and 3 but will go only with the 2 to wire. Odds on 3 too low.

I agree! When he went to the lead I thought the 2 would fold but he ran a good race.

I had the 9 as beating the 12 for early. Looking again I think the 12 was actually a lone early. Disregarding fractional times the 12 was just going to the lead anyway. Was there really another early in there? I don't think so. And the 12 had just missed after switching to a turf route last out.

You're right on this one Pook. My post mortem analysis shows that the 9 had gotten the lead twice in 24.2 and 24.3. The 8 had the lead once in 24.3. But, the 8 was 3rd in the tandem race at the 1st call. The 12, on the other hand, had the lead 6 times at the 1st call including the tandem race and 22.1 in a sprint on the dirt.
