Derby

I projected the 1/2 mile pace as 46.1 off of Dortmund's last line. There are 4 E/P types that have run well against that pace...2, 2,8,10 and 18. The 2 looks slowest of that group. The 10 fought against the FPLR and has lost to the 8 by a head twice. I like those two a bit better than the 18. My picks are the 8 and 10.

I'm with Pete, the 8 and 10 (from my previous evaluation)

Santa Anita #1:

With the 5,7, and 8 as early fighters, Ithink the pace is going to be quick. I'm looking for something around 21.4. This sets it up for the 2 who's shown he can handle a 21.3.

The 2 is my choice.

I'm just going to throw the Oaks chart in here before it gets out of sequence.

SA Race 1

#6 and #8

Both can fight, but #6 can lay back. If the #5 and #7 soften up the #8 (and the #6 stays out of that fray), it could be there at a price.
#6 taking nice Tote Xray support at 3 MPT

Ted

Pook elevates himself in the standings

Pook,

Nice hit at SA #1. $32.60 to win on the 5. Well done!

I'm going to pass the Tampa race #6. The 1 who was my choice is currently 8/5.

Looks like I'm missing the action, but here are my Derby picks:

Dortmund and Firing Line

Good Luck, Mike
