CALDER 2ND RACE..

There are no scratches , but I dont know the track conditions...

I like the #9 at 15-1....with tons of early speed in race , I see it as OTE

also note: Horse purchased privately for trainer/owner Richardson..workout at Calder sept 20...2/38 blin off too...all out to win????

win/place for me....match-up anyone?

So, are you staying away from Big Muddy today? I'm not crazy about the first two races at Belmont today, loaded with entrants having distance and surface switches.

So, with that in mind, since I've come up with longshots in each race on top, I will just take a flyer on each and hope that the mud will be the great equalizer as one turf author (probably Ainslie) put it so many years ago.

First race - 3 (Come On Chas - but the name has nothing to do with it). Horse has 5 wins out of 14 tries in the mud.

Second race - 5 (Quiet Mover) After the scratches, no way I'll get the 6/1 morning line, but I'll settle for half of that.

Bel 3

Rondo is interesting, but recent runs are a tad off putting

sit and watch it scoot in
