Free Screen Capture Utility

If you looking for a free screen capture utility, that is hassle free, easy to use, and allows annotations, then you can give Easy Capture a try.

My 30 free-trial version of Snagit just expired, and not wanting to cough up the $50 bucks to buy the program I did what any cheap bastard would do and did a little searching.

I found several good screen capture utilities by reading the reviews at this site, which included ScreenShot Captor. You do need to register and get a product key for ScreenShot Captor, which I'm sure is not a problem. I also believe it's more feature rich than Easy Capture.

Bill, what program are you using?

OK, I tried double clicking the rectangle box, and it did give me some options, one of which is an ellipse.

Thanks for that,

Steve

Hi Steve

I'll take Karen Valentine to win!!

I have photoshop 7.0 and Camtasia 5.0 for making videos
I usually make my own call outs shapes and add stuff to my screen
shots with photoshop
I made the above screen shots for you quickly
using the Camtasia call out feature and then just saving
a frame from the video screen

I like your screen capture program

who is the secret square ??

Bill, I don't know about the secret square, but I'll take Paul Lynde to block.

Peter Marshall: Paul, can you get an elephant drunk?
Paul Lynde: Yes, but he still won't go up to your apartment.

Peter Marshall: Paul, why do Hell's Angels wear leather?
Paul Lynde: Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.

Peter Marshall: Is it possible for the puppies in a litter to have more than one daddy?
Paul Lynde: Why, that bitch!

Peter Marshall: It is the most abused and neglected part of your body - what is it?
Paul Lynde: Mine may be abused but it certainly isn't neglected!
