Chalk it up to being one of 'dem races where the Class factor simply won out, as none of #5's lines really brought it into contention when matched up against others. Plus the unknown factor of a 3YO vs older (albeit later in the year) made it really difficult to even support the winner.

This was a case of paying attention to the pre race prattle. Apparently the horse had problem that needed surgery and the trainer had told Andy Sterling to expect improvement. So although his numbers weren't good on BL/BL neither was the place horse] the 5 ranked 2 and the 4 3rd on rx. All that being said the odds on both were to low to play them so pass was in order. I had them listed 1-2 in my post over at The RXForum but did pass race.

Thanks Tim and Tim

I took a shot against the 5 because i did not have a line'

Its ok I had the win on the 4 in race 2

Hey Tim (LT1)
You mention and refer to Doc's video's Circa 1997 all the time
How do you feel after watching those tapes , He would react to
Touts, like Andy Steling and factors like Profit line a d Bris prime

Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill. How are you doing?. If you go to FU #70 pg 35 you will see how those tapes helped me. Also since it's the Docs' Methodology so who better for a newer member to listen to for instuctions on what to do. I don't pay attention to touts like Sterling but I like to listen to the paddock folks like Maggie Wolfendale. As far as profit line and Bris prime power, until Ted included them in RDSS, I didn't mention them publicly unless someone asked me directly how I got my contenders and then usually by phone or pm. Now that they are in play I'll go on the record as using them for my contender selections. Remember our original contender selection process was form the DRF sr+tv. There is no way to know what Doc would have thought if using them were presented to him although his contract with Trackmaster most likely would have made it a moot proposition.
