Nice work, Houndog! I have not handicapped CD this year but a few thoughts, since EXDC/TM is also my program of choice. I haven't posted since Dec. 2008, but you drew me out!:

1-You were absolutely correct in using the 2 adjust or a manual adjust as last lines were from CD, CRC, and CT. I always tend to check both the 1 and 2 adjust. As you said, CRC is a "slower" track, always has been.

2-Opportunities like this, as you know, come up all the time if you wait for them. Don't know if Eaton's showed the class to win a G2, but the key for me was his nose on the wire just ahead of Benny. I'm getting 14-1 vs. 2/5, my eyes light up.

3-Based on the readout, I would have had a normal win bet on Eaton's and would have considered a win bet on Ikigai, although I typically don't pull the trigger until 5-1, 6-1, or so.

4-If I played the exacta, it would have been Ikigai and Eaton's boxed then with both on top of Benny, probably at a base of $1, as I focus my resources on the win hole. Putting Benny over the other two is not my style, as cashing a ticket that pays nothing does nothing for me vs. the risk I take.

I may well have put the DPH, How's, under Ikigai and Eaton's, but at 7-2, not real exciting, but with a 14-1 on top, worth the risk.

5-Again, nice thought process and nice work. Keep in mind, EXDC/TM was developed, tested, and finalized by Jimmy and Doc with Jimmy doing the programming, so as much as the Hat could translate his process into a program, it's in there. Another way his legacy lives on.

Houndog, great work, must be a later version of Energy, as I don't recall the Composite screen. Super example, thanks.

Isosa, welcome back, good to see your post, don't be a stranger, and thanks so much for all you've contributed to this site, greatly appreciated by all I'm sure.

Exdc

Houndog,

I'm curious. Is that the 16 bit DOS Phase VI version of EXDC?
And what system are you running it on?

Energy

Houndog:

Beautiful hit and explanation. I have never had or used the Energy program, but one has to marvel at its power as such a devastating program when in the hands of the masters such as yourself and "Froggy".

Wonderful hit and thank you for such a clear and detailed explanation.

Hope that all is well with you and your family Houndog.

All the BEST!

Vinnie

Yes this is a 16 bit DOS program. This is a 4 call version of Energy. Data Entry is just like THOROMATION. I had do use DOSBOX for this program to run on my XP machine.

As far as printing it would be tough since my machine is hooked to a USB printer.

The older 3 call version of Energy does not need DOSBOX to run but I use TAME for this program. (It helps). I can print through this program by copying and pasting the screenshots into Notepad.

Hi Houndog,

I have used a program called dos2usb to accomplish this with some old dos programs. You may want to give it a look.

Kgen

Hi Jim I would be interested ..

I use Dos box to run my favorite "oldie" KGEN

Houndog I see you used five horses but scratch one of them
I used your lines and ran the race through KGEN
I like to use five horses but 4 works

Here is my Engen

Size: 10.6 KB

I used the 2 adjust and the first pre play screen to come up
was SP so I said the race was "OTE"

Name: SP.GIF

Size: 9.5 KB
I make my bets of the Kgraph screen
so I looked at the adjusted SP screen and
its Eat and Ben 1- 2
Name: Kgraph.GIF
Views: 407
Size: 11.6 KB

As doc said The horse ranked second on KGEN
wins by design more often than the horse ranked first

Thanks
Bill
