Lrl race 8 10/12

$45 win 2
$ 25 win # 6
$ 30 Place #6

Really going for a wild shot here as the 7 is the hide and looks like a tough one to beat
But the horse has never won 2 in a row so miracle could happen

This horse took a ton of late money and was also a hide
In reality these 2 hides races are automatic passes for me

Oh well

May I ask why then, if automatic passes , did you play these this time?

I too have had this issue, for this contest , of playing races where my own money may not be bet, tryingto get a 20 race cycle done. Yet this month, being more selective, I have lost more than when I played a whole card for the day, or maybe 2 cards in 1 day, instead of , looking and looking for the right race to come along, as I am 1 for 6 so far, waiting for the value play.

Yet you are hitting at 50% , which is to admired, congrats and good skill !!

Sorry I just saw your post,
Yes I play the races and this one I lost
because I either did not look hard enough or the 3 took a ton
of money after the gate opened which is very possible on Tuesdays as Parx is a popular track on a slow day.
I never saw that the 3 was also a hide
and I missed it because I was busy posting the selection

Anyway I pick races that I am betting,to use for the contest
I use the contest to judge my regular ability's improvement
I have never been a fan of other types contest were everybody picks from the same race, I feel people who do well in those type contest sometimes are picking horses they never would bet and this causes conflicts in thier minds
when they go back to thier day to day wagering
