Hello from Ontario California
Almost home,

Today looks like a real challenge

Race 6 Furlongs Dirt Purse $100,000 Stakes I'M SMOKIN Stakes

the 1 and 8 are scratched, Still looks like a good matchers race

Remember those Night Moves , and that the late post time Fridays means

My approach:
6 -- has never run as far as 6f, second race after layoff, positive jockey switch to Desormeaux, should get the lead at the 1/4 mile, but will likely cough it up -- toss

2 -- blinkers on, has never run as far as 6f, only 3rd lifetime race, first race after 60 day layoff, competitive if runs back to May 6 race -- use underneath in exotics

5 -- second time lasix, has never run as far as 6f, only second race lifetime, only race was MSW, should run EP => contender, especially at 12-1 ML

3 -- has never run as far as 6f, only 3rd race lifetime, has won at this level => probably the public favorite, use underneath in exotics

7 -- has never run as far as 6f, only 3rd race lifetime, only real closer => contender and worth a win bet if can get 3-1 ML

4 -- has never run as far as 6f, only 3rd race lifetime, second race after layoff, but looks too slow, toss

9 -- has never run as far as 6f, big win last race, but was MSW, huge improvement in last race => wins the race if can run back to last race

Conclusion: win bets 5,7, ex box 5,7,9, ex 5,7,9/3,2

Well, it sure is nice to be home.

This race was rough. Really don't have much to go on except 1 line for each horse, Basic PMTR guidelines say to use lines where you have a similar line
in the PP's to evaluate and confirm your chosen line.
with these 2-year-old The best lines are either the last line or a horses maiden win. Anyway,

Here are my notes

Horse 2 Sir Valentine. Early 1 for 2
Line 1 is a 0 race but against open 100 stakes competition
line 2 is only at 4.5 furlongs so I don't think that is a comparable distance
BVD = 93

Horse 3 Continental Divide Sus, 1 for 2
Line 1 is a + race 26 days ago at the exact same class level Line 1 BVD - 34

Horse 4 Drizzy Sus Press 1 for 2 life
Line 1 is a + race 26 days ago at the exact same class level Line 1 BVD = `182

Horse 5 Ministerdontparty Early 1 for 1
Just 1 line. It is a plus line a state bred maiden
special win line
BDV -34

Horse 6 Bookies Luck Early 1-4 Line 1 is a (+)
against the same class Line 2 is its maiden win
its current so I will rate it.
BVD=172

Horse 7 Smokem Sus Pres 1 for 2
Hunch play This is the I'm Smokin Stakes so his name sure fits this race. He shows 2 races both of them are plus races Line 1 is against this same class BVD=131

Horse 8 Scr.

Horse 9 Unpossible Early Presser 1 for 3
Line 1 is it's maiden win but only against state bred MS25's BVD=111

Contenders 9 7 3

2 year olds, anybody's guess.
3 & 7 will probably be bet down
2 adds blinkers
9 can compete pace wise.
another fun bet race, best upset at a price # 9 worth at least $2, DD possibilities not all that great looking, I'll look at some small DD & Ex. payoffs but the risk will have to be worth it.Lets see what the public does.

My contenders are 3-7-4-2-9. Doesn't look like the 3 or 7 will have value in the win spot so
the exs are the plays $2 exs 37/ 24569,$1ex 4/234679,$1ex 29/347 total$32

I thought the 7 was going to get him. I should have played the ex. in the 6th. Don't you just love hindsight. LMAO.
