I can handle tough, Mitch. I had a good Spa meet overall. Just venting some frustration. Uncontrollable racing luck (DQs, poor starts, tough trips) have been the story of this Labor Day for me. It will be nice to "flip the switch" and give my eyes and brain a break now that my hometown track is through for the year.

Well, I missed the tote action, and betting on the race. But I did enjoy a nice broiled trout and chardonnay ...

Looks like Ted and I caught the winner #3
Don't get me wrong. I will take the win, but gee the 3 got hammered down to
2.90/1 from a 8/1 morning line

To be honest This horse was going to be worth at bet as soon as i saw the pattern,

The horse runs lights out at Indiana Downs, They think so highly of her , that the ship her to Del Mar for a Grade 1

Look at those workouts !!! But alas she fails in the race,
This is a perfect pattern Doc and Pirco would be smiling and this is right out of the paceline manual

Excuse Line 1 - Wrong Class
Excuse Line1 - First try at track in the current meet.
Look at line 2 - No reason to look past this line!

The last thing I liked is they decided to give her another shot. They stayed at Del Mar.

For a full field and with all the top turf Jockeys up and this being the final turf route of the meet, Somebody had to be pumping a lot of money on this horse, to drive her odd down to near 3/1

Glad for the owners, I bet they will have a nice trip back to Indy
