Day 31 DMR Feature race Race 7 8.0 Turf 3+ F-M
Having a beautiful day once again, coming today from Gallup New Mexico
We are back after a nice 2-day break, I think this is the final full week of this Del Mar meet. Let's finish up strong Today we are back on the turf 1 mile for 3+ F-M it is a OC40 n-2x I love this class race, In today's race we have some horses with only 1 win and a few horses with many wins all mixed in Good Skill Tonight I finally start heading back to L0s Angels I should be home and at Del Mar by Friday afternoon Looking forward to a nice jump into the ocean after many days of over 110 degrees out here and in Pheonix This one is dedicated to Ted I know you are having some stress with the pace and cap update We all are so grateful to you Ted so "Don't Worry Baby " https://youtu.be/lW0YGC68qP4 |

I'm stumped. I have been trying to come up with picks for mostly all these races. Even for races I should be passing. But this race appears so evenly spread out Matchup wise that I can't see anything. Maybe Bob has it nailed or someone else.
My apologies Pook |

Bill,
Thank YOU for such a kind link to my 3rd favourite group . Indeed, no need to worry, baby - what could go wrong ...! Here's what I've got for this race. And now - I must take this website down for hopefully a short time for a software upgrade - though we'll see ... Ted

Woo Hoo
Things are all good Ted !! Congrats You were right on No need to worry!
This race is so wide open, based on my readouts and my visual analysis I think I am just going with 2 win bets and I should probably add the and maybe the foreign horse in some kind of horizontal but I'm short on time, trying to get home for Friday Notations Horse 1 2-15 Sus. Runs good numbers but does not win or stay healthy This will be the first time it has run back to back races without at least a 30 day layoff . Best TPR is 176.1 Horse 2. Nicarra Sus Only shows 1 north America line Ran a decent race first try at DMR and after a 299-day layoff Just 1 maiden win for her Horse 3. West Coast Bias First try against winners, Broke her maiden in the last line with only a 173 TPR 1-5 lifetime Horse 4. Comet Sixty Two Sustained 4/32 Always seems to be too little too late trying to circle the field strong candidate for place or show Horse 5 Cordiality Presser or SP Always runs Plus races best ever TPR is a 182 Line 1 is a solid + effort major contender Horse 6 Mrs Norris Sustained only 1-18 has not won in ten races shown Line 1 seems to be her best ability Horse 7 Salsita Sustained 9-time winner shows 4 win lines in her 10 races shown all TPRs in those race are between 178 and 181 So Line 1 is very indicative, Its a win against 32000 claimers Strong contender but can it win 2 in a row? Excellent numbers on the segments screen Horse 8 Warm Endowment SP 3 for 14 Just won and was claimed in lst race . for $32000 Its Tpr is 176, It has run better Can it win 2 in a row? Horse 9 Peach Cove E/EP Should be up there early, Just ran a (+) in an ST 50 at GG. Has run well early in Socal Been off for 109 days. Its win against winners (2-11) was after a 56 day layoff TPRs are funny Its an early visual/position runner but its LPRs are decent . If She can improve off that stakes effort in line 1 she will be tough |

#2 UKN. factor with only one US start
# 3 dis. & surface OK, won last but step up in class today a little steep, Toss # 4 is o for 10 at this did, and has failed several times at this class, Toss # 5 UKN. Factor only 2 @ did , & surface, last best and on improve, probably better sprinter, has speed and can rate. contender # 6 best races are longer, toss # 7 won last and a contender #8 won last & on improve, I did a little projection on this one and figure it to improve over its best last year(SR) to be good enough to take these. my SWAG is: 1-8-7-5 Mitch44 Last edited by Mitch44; 08-30-2017 at 07:42 PM. Well
Looks like we all spotted the place horse
The wins and gets me a solid win at 3/1 Welcome back Mitch, It's a shame you missed the double The in race 6 was an excellent wager The doubles would have paid monster prices Here is a bit of irony, I randomly selected 3 horses from this race When I prepared my demo on how to group/name headings in RDSS early yesterday morning. http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11292 I posted the demo early yesterday. The 3 horses I used were the 3, 5 and 7. Look who ran in the trifecta! Last edited by Bill V.; 09-15-2017 at 12:47 PM. |
