Race 13
DD
$1.00
4,5,9/ 1,4
Tot. $6
Bal. $9.00
The 4,5, & 9 have the top Speed Rat's @ 9 F and should be in the position to win this. They are improving 3-year old's which is what you want to see as they progress throughout the year.
The favorite # 8 is a poor bet considering he's 4th on Sp. Rat., however he is consistent whereas the 4,5, & 9 must prove consistency in speed numbers, that we won't know until the race is over. The only risk reward here is going against the favorite. Win or lose its the correct bet. While one of these Sp. Rat. can be wrong its doubtful at best all 3 are incorrect. Good luck.

Race 14
Win $2
1 & 4
Tot. $4
Bal. $5.00
For this race I used comparative final time based on the favorite # 6, only thing that's available. I used to play Arabian races at Del Pk. which was always their last race of the day. Their fun to watch and much slower than thoroughbreds but early pace and final time are effective of a Phase1 approach. Like thoroughbreds it doesn't always work but the favorite is a not a given. I suppose earning would also work.
