Ever see 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'? There's a cute notion there about the Infinite Improbability Drive. It's not that some occurrances are impossible, just almost infinitely improbable.
My question: how did these horses know in advance to vary their velocity on those 2 days (and taking into account the slight variation in daily track variant), so that they would cause their Perceptor Total to be the same down to the tenths? Makes you think... Ted P.S. If they both win, start keeping a model!

What I find odd is that the final time in the first line is exactly the same as the second even though it is .3 further AND the SR is the same. Wouldn't logic dictate that the SR would be higher for the 8.3 F race ?

Hi Jim ok those 117.6 identical times is the software adjusting the internal fractions of the route race to todays 6.5 f distance. if u notice all the way down the pp's the final times showing are what 6.5f races run in regardless of the actual distance of the paceline. here is a screen shot of the same horse showing the ACTUAL running line on the lower half of the screen hope this helps Rich |
