Short description of pace line selection: Lowest Perceptor score from Primary screen for today's distance and surface.

Sprinters going Route get two lines, one of each.

Then use Original lines to match running positions call by call.

9-11 mnr 5

$100 to win on 4

Here I've selected the best route lines for each late horse. The two early horses get a route and a sprint line for which they actually ran early.

On the original screen #4 shows a move from 2nd call to stretch against the fastest pace. ( U means "uther than early")

On the segments screen the two early sprint lines fall just short of the closing #4.

09-11-12 MNR 5 Results

Alright, looks like I had the right pacelines but wrong interpretation. The two early sprinters made up the exacta in order.

Maybe if I run this same sort on other route races and bet the sprinters off of the BL/BL screen...

$100 to win on 4

Here both the BL/BL and segments agree. The tandems show that 4 beats 2 whenever 2 takes the early lead.

So, the race matched the segment screen. The 2 took the lead early and kept it just long enough to slow a few strides at the end for the 4 to pass. 4 was the ML favorite at 9/5 and got bet down a buck.

PEN 1 Sep 14 Results

Here I chose a late horse against 5 earlies. Paceline I selected was a power move from 4th position against today's projected pace.

I changed my pace projection after the scratch of a significant early horse. That was my mistake. Without that change 2 shows as dominant early.

Good contender selection, wrong paceline selection. My three final contenders all finished
in the top four.
