SR questions
Hi Ted
I just am still having problems. I made this screen capture of RDSS original lines , Adjusted lines The readouts from The DRF and then the lines typed into VALM then the adjustments that program is making Ok here goes .. I use the original lines to pick the best of the last 3 speed rating plus TV For this horse # 3 Count Montbrook from todays first race at Philly I see a 90 SR and a 2 variant So in my head I think 90 + 2 = 92 DRF or HDRF gives Count a 88 sr and a 21 TV Now I thought that Doc and pirco used to use 17 18 19 as no adjustment and then 1/2 for each number over 19 so I would add thought that a 21 varient meant that the track was two ticks slower than normal Is this why you give # 3 a 90 SR because the drf gave it a 88 plus the 2 tick adjustment? I then show the adjusted lines screen and you show the original speed rating then the adjusted number, I think because of the distance the 90 becomes 84 Then I entered # 3's lines into VALM and Valm adjust down to 83 83 so thats cool What I'm thinking is I should not add the SR- TV together I should just use it as a guide to how slow or fast the track was. When you show a negative number does it mean that the track was faster than the normal 17 ,18,19 Thanks Bill |

more info
Ted just got back to me in a private message
He is very busy with the latest update I made this screen shot what I did was I entered every line for Horse # 3 Count Montbrook into Valm the valm screen is the original data .Then I hit calculations and copied the adjusted numbers from valm and pasted them next to the originals I highlighted it with a yellow box, Then I selected all the lines for horse # 3 Count Montbrook in RDSS I then pasted them into the same shot they are the ones below the yellow box What this is telling me is that the adjusted lines are very close in RDSS to what Im seeing in Valm and that is a good thing |
