I had the eventual 37 dollar winner as my second ranked horse, but somehow managed to talk myself out of playing it as the favorite's BL score was considerably higher.

No regrets, I'm doing OK - part of the learning process.

Did you see today's card at the Big A?

The eighth race, normally the feature on the card, is a $7,500 claimer!

wow ..7500 claimer...things are getting bad there..but I stay away..
4 maidens...and a 3rd race $65000 stakes...why not feature?
is there any races today that is interfearing with this race as feature somewhere else?

Why should another race interfere though? The on-site patrons can't get too excited about sitting through three maiden races in a row and then two 7.5K claimers just to wager on some out-of-town event.

As far as a refund for a canceled card, that's a good question. I always likened it to buying the DRF the day before - you got the info that you paid for, it's not their fault that you weren't able to use it because the track closed.

Well - I see that it was canceled after the third race. I haven't heard the reason but in my case it was for lack of interest.

Sal, I downloaded philly park on Friday as well. I contacted Trackmaster via their website, and got a response that they credited back my download of the track since it canceled before the 1st race went off.

Cheers!
Jim
