Yes indeed, a big Tip-0'-The-Hat to houndog.

Here's one in his honor (I'm sure he listens to this kind of music ;>)

Hi Bill
Sorry I have not been able to jump in with some KGEN looks I've been
doublng up loads all week so I can take a nice vacation for the big weekend

Not a breeders cup fan but it will be fun to watch

Bill,l You always seem to be right there with your race picks
Do you now or ever wager pick 3's daily double Pick 4's

It seems you would do very well with a 3x3x3 bet in a pick 3
Docs quidelines 3x3x3 =$27 for $1 plus another win bet on any horse over 9/2

Bill

Hi Bill,

I feel the same way. The Breeders Cup is fun to watch.

I always appreciate your input and very sound advice.
Making a living today is primary so your work should always come first.

Bill,

What would be the difference between the two?

Jeff
Jeff,

The DRF Variant is the form Variant.
The projected Variant is formulated by the software.
The Beyer Varianf is Andy Beyers number.

My preference would be either the Beyer Number or
The DRF numbers.

Bill....

if you see the charts, you would have seen the #1 getting out to the lead..
What did he do to the #2?...forced him to not get the lead.
This is why you ALWAYS leave the early horse(s) left in...he can change the out come of any race..
From what you shown..the 2 would have an easy lead..but he didnt !!
The 4 would have been a more certain choice for the win

Mike, what you say is very true but I felt the (2) would fade because he was not speed competitive.
After making a Variant adjustment, after the fact the (4) came up very strong. Even so, the (4) was in my top 2.

I am optomistically very hopeful that Ted is working on a feature that will allow RDSS to convert files to Syn2, Syn3, and Syn4.
When and if this transpires, RDSS will be unsurpassed and will be the best software out there.

I e mailed Bob Purdy(really nice guy) about this very subject and he like Tom Brohammer say only put in true contenders. If you put in the early quitters who dont have a chance it will only screw up the readouts.

YOU ARE RIGHT!
Even in the “match up”, you start with which horse is going to make the lead at the first call…regardless of whether or not you think it will win. It is that horse’s pace that is the first piece of the POR from which other horses will be evaluated. Maybe that horse will get the lead on a softer pace because it isn't being pushed by another horse(s) today. That's the reason it should get evaluated. If you don’t evaluate the “early quitters” (), how do you know if they will quit...…OR NOT??

When the gates open one horse gets the lead. If no other horse passes it…it WINS!!

Garbage in-garbage out. I will stick with Purdy and Brohammer on putting contenders in a software program.
