Shoeless: continue to play one of my favorite race courses: WOODBINE. It is a wonderful track, big fields, great racing and the program isolates many a winner.
If all goes well I may be moving there in the next year or two. |

Tim,Your insights of the track have helped me quite a bit and I really do appreciate it.The big fields they have sure makes it fun to cap the horses, nothing worse then playing tracks with 5 and 6 horse fields.Jeff
LBJ,Thanks to you as well for convincing me to keep playing Woodbine when I was on a bad run.You saw I was getting the right contenders in there.Jeff Last edited by shoeless; 06-11-2008 at 07:56 AM. |

Nice work Jeff. Theres no doubt in my mind that the older programs work and will continue to work. Its a matter of getting to know the program and keeping records and finding out where the winners are coming from. All basic stuff that Doc has always stressed. Ive worked with the Energy program in the past but not enough to really know it. But I noticed that sometimes it would really isolate a horse " a standout" and that horse would be the easy winner. Really "cool" when all the elements are "clicking" , everything working and the winners are sometimes in the double digits. You Go Jeff !

Tim,Im taking your advice besides playing Monmouth turf [which I have always done well at]and the spot play at CT Im concentrating on Woodbine. The big fields and not having to worry about all of those shippers make it an enjoyable place to play. Now if I can only get the hang of playing the turf races there.Jeff
