Saratoga 1st Race New Pace

Anybody notice the new pace score for the 1st race at Saratoga? New pace selections: 1,3,6,9
Results:
9 won paid 102.50 to win
9-1 exacta 868.00
9-1-3 Trifecta 2302.00

The 3 was in my top three VDC.

I would have pasted the screens but was having trouble doing it. Nope I didn't bet it but hope someone here using it did.

If you bet Pretty Boy Freud you need your head examined.

Uh, wait a minute...

Pretty Boy Freud is owned by friends of mine. I saw them in the paddock before the race and had a nice chat with Leo O'Brien and his wife. She said that the horse had a severe infection causing the bad race last time out. They cured that and also tried a couple of new things. They were confident that the horse would run a lot better this time.
This was also the race named for a prize winner on the Price Is Right. This California woman won a trip to Saratoga for Travers weekend with a VIP treatment as part of a showcase package back in January or February. You can see her win on YouTube.

Charlie,

I remember, a few years ago, when you and Missy took us out of town to some of the farms, and we went to the one where Pretty Boy Floyd was. I'm happy for the owners, but his form looked pretty bad ...
