Here is a clearer look
here are all 4 of your records AAA = what you actually bet $25 win/pace on two horses BBB = what you would have got betting $50 place on both horses CCC = If you bet $50 win on both horses DDD = If you bet $60/$40 on you two horses DDD would get you the best bankroll |

Thanks Bill
This is very enlighting, thank you for taking the time to put this up, I am still up in the air about next months wagering choice. It seems that a 60/40 win only wager would be the best option according to what you posted above, which used the horses I used in July, 1 horse i thought for sure would win, thou m/l odds were low 3-1, 7/2 or so, and then eneded up lower by posttime) and then 1 horse of some value who also could have won, which has come in 2nd at very nice place prices (these 2 choices have paid very nice prices as a place wager, but did not win). Guess I will have to decide soon, or maybe sit out 1 month and watch others , and take a month to see how others bet and wager, and just learn for a month, instead of actual wagering, still doing something productive, which is the purpose of the contest, to learn. Again thanks alot Bill patrick

Patrick
You are having a good month in the contest. If you are happy with your results, you should continue on as you are doing. You are making money, that is the bottom line. Continue to do what you are comfortable with. For instance, I bet mostly $60, $40 in the contest but I am comfortable betting those amounts in real life. I feel that you will continue to improve by actually being in the contest rather than just watching. The important thing is that you are comfortable with what you are doing and not what others think you should bet.

Thank you Sir
I am , but things are getting busy for me and for me to do all I need, it may be better for me to relax for a month. Take a break, do just a little reading and studying. And work my rear off to be able to stop by Saratoga for a few days, this August, even thou I have been there 3 times in the last 30 days already, but no time to go to the track, just time enough for dinner at Auggie's and breakfast at Price-Choppers, been busy with the trucking thing , leaving little to do the handicapping thing. I do hope to see ya this year, Sir patrick
