Fonder park
Late pick-5 at fonner park today has mandatory payout with $500,000 carryover. The bet is .50. And starts in race 4 around 6 o’clock.

You misspelled "Flounder". Article about Fonner and what is going on there during the current crisis: https://www.playfecta.com/fonner-par...aking-records/ |

Charlie,
I made a quick exit from the Pick 5 when my horse was DQed in the first leg. (Adios, Mick and your $54!) It's an adjustment watching 6 furlong races around two turns. And you can't look at the PPs. You would never bet. How often do you see a 1-for-39 horse as the 4-5 favorite? And that's in the feature! I like Will Rogers better but the syndicates have honed their models now and have turned it into a chalk fest. You can't make bricks without straw and you can't money without odds. |

Good Morning Mick, there sure were not not enough life jackets to go around at Conner

Hi, Darryl.
I've been wondering what those two little tracks will do with all the money. With no one else racing Monday-Wednesday, their handles have been amazing. With Fonner, it's over $200,000/race and Will Rogers $250,000+/race. If they ask me, I would suggest they raise purses and cut the take. Of course, they won't but I hope they do something constructive with this temporary bonanza. Too bad that Hastings isn't running now. They could get in on this. |
