This is interesting, thanks for posting this Bill. I used this strategy last year in the derby, pretty cool to see it in the follow-up. Hopefully this year the payoff is a little bigger! Thanks for posting this, reminded me of a strategy that has worked for me. |

Just made my oaks derby doubles. In the Oaks i used the 2,3,4,11,12,13 w/ #11 Exaggerator in derby. Doubled up on the 11-11 combo. I also put $10 win on Exaggerator on T.V.G. Mobile. They said i was getting 3 times the odds. Hey, let him win first and then i'll scream in their ears if they don't pay off.
By the way, I know Bill V. from the Meadowlands. He'd be hanging with Richie P. and John running Sartin programs. My late friend Fred introduced me to the sartin method back in '84.He wrote me sartin programs on floppy disk in tandy basic which i still have and my late friend Mark introducded me to Bill and Richie. My background in racing is this: i went to the track 6 days a week from 1978-1984. All i used was the racing form and tote board. When i met Fred he showed me computers, par times and speed and then sartin. I showed him how to read a horse's form! That's all it took to form a friendship until he died in 2008. I always look at form first, this way i know which pace line to use on the horse, so when you read my blog in general discussion later you'll know where i'm coming from. Now i'm going back and taking the rest of field for a buck with the 11. Then i'm taking the horses i'm using in my exotics in derby with #12 and #3 in oaks. Later, Omar. That's not my real name. When i told fred back in the day that i needed to buy pants, i told him i had to see omar the tent maker because he had my size. he started to call me omar, then everybody at the track started calling me omar and the name just stuck. |
