GG Race 6 - Wednesday - Turf route maidens
1st run through this race I felt very happy.
Here are my notes and initial reads on Bl/Bl and Tpr entering lines for all horses. Also showing the pps for the 2 ml favs I am getting rid of and sending me a "go" signal to look further at this race: Gg 6th - Mdn turf route 1) 2/1 ml fav #4 "Micah" - trying grass 1st time. Play against definitely and HIDE from reads 2) 2nd choice ml #2 "Pure" - looks like chronic loser + Baze up insures overbet status- Play against and HIDE from reads 3) #6 Classical Bartok 8/1 ml - longshot pattern and tandem loser to # 8 "DJ" who ran huge race. Longshot contender 4) #8 "DJ" - Giant race 1st try grass fighting and holding very well on off turf. Must bet at anywhere near ml odds of 9/2. 1st "gut reaction" THIS is horse to beat here. 5) #1 "Marcus" - signs of life 1st try grass 6) #7 "Gold" - ok here |

After hiding the 2 ml favs for reasons shown in 1st post and reducing to true contenders.
Let's see odds and what shakes Gg 6th - Mdn turf route 3) #6 Classical Bartok 8/1 ml - longshot pattern and tandem loser to # 8 "DJ" who ran huge race. Longshot contender 4) #8 "DJ" - Giant race 1st try grass fighting and holding very well on off turf. Must bet at anywhere near ml odds of 9/2. 1st "gut reaction" THIS is horse to beat here. 5) #1 "Marcus" - signs of life 1st try grass 6) #7 "Gold" - ok here Last edited by RichieP; 12-09-2009 at 02:12 AM. |

I don't want to BS anyone so I will tell ya the last bet I made with real money was the end of my auto line test over a month and a half ago. This includes the last race I posted here before the fact in Bill L's thread for the Hollywood Derby when the top 2 Bl/Bl with BIG gap ran 1-2 for nice number,My family situation dictates this and I couldn't be happier man(about caring for family that is). I have no clue about the joint or the race and only reason I "saw it" to post was because it was 1AM and I was up after taking care of business here. It was quiet and the race came because of all the rain everywhere I wanted to look at a race and ONLY venues I could feel comfortable looking at were the POLY'S. I hate looking at short fields and when I opened GG card the race posted here was the biggest field pre scratches so I opened it and liked what I saw ok? The screen shot here of my tracks shows GG as the first poly on the list and the field size of the race is seen too I will not be betting real money(my time for this will come again when it is supposed to)on this either but that doesn't mean I wont cap it best I can For exotics the "Baze" horse could come in money but I have to throw the sucker out for the WIN Stay cool Mike and stay FOCUSED take care Last edited by RichieP; 12-09-2009 at 07:45 AM. |

nice guys...
no favorites in top 2 p.s- I've read that early horses have the advantage here in turf routes at about 2:1 in the money

I think #5, Super Comet is a bit interesting. Actually made up some nice ground early last time out, for the 1st time in it's career, a clear improvement, and gets blinkers on today. Will be a price.
Will use with Baze's horse and one other (to be determined later ) |
