Missing and readouts off In KGEN

Hello Ted

This just happened once. I am very happy working races with RDSS
Thank you for allowing me to test it

I did race 4 from Hawthorne today I picked my lines
and sent them raw to KGEN
The readouts on the kgen graphs are do not appearing
correctly. The lines are not matching th horses name

The readouts on the Kinetic Potental for Each Furlong
are missing

The program worked great at picking the winner
The 4 is tops on EXDC Pre Play and Thorom
The 4 won the race

here are the lines I used and what is happening on KGEN

The preplay and the Thorom screen Nailed the winner

In your post #3, the middle DOS window display, where all lines are projected to 8.3, the Final call shows as all 0.0's, which can't be correct.

Could you enter those lines manually (instead of exporting from RDSS), using the same naming convention as RDSS for clarity, go through all the screens, then save it and sent me the resulting new file to look at. I will dig out my KGEN and look at it (er, sometime soon).

You're right, something is amiss, but I'm not familiar enough anymore with KGEN (or Energy or Thoromation) or the data file structure, to spot the problem right off.

Thanks Ragin!

Ted

Mike,

Thanks! If you are able to send me anything similar to what I asked of Ragin, (i.e. the RAC file from manual entry) perhaps re mile 40 races, I'd be grateful.

yours,

Ted

works

Thank You Ted and Mike

The answer seems to be the 8.3 distance needs to be 1.7
I found this reminder in follow up #35 Page 16

I did what Ted asked I hand entered the same data from RDSS
into KGEN but I used 1.7 for the distance
things were better but horses 4 and 5 were still not correct

I tried 1 more time,
I entered the distance on the entry screen as 1.7 for todays distance
Then I saw that when I typed the lines from RDSS I again typed
8.3 for the Pace line distance for horses 4 and 5
I retyped the distance for horses 4 and 5 as
1.7 and It worked perfect
