Update

After 12 days in hospital, now 23 days in rehab and still can’t move right leg forward without pain to stand up but in all fairness I was in bed for 3 weeks. Only had one session in p/t for an hour. Will see by the end of August. Well there goes horses for the summer.
Fell in my bathroom on 6/26 at 2 am. Came down Covid 2 days earlier and was very weak and walking was really slow. Rested my arm on bathtub and might have dozed off, next thing I heard a boom as I fell into my toilet. Landed on floor and laid there 18 hours until help arrived. Sucks, I know.
I did play the UN H’cap on Haskell day and caught Therapist from memory. No access to computer since it went to sleep. Went 3/5 last Saturday at MTH, LRl & Sar using my board watching knowledge.

Forgot to mention that I screwed up my right shoulder/biceps/triceps, not to mention that my right pinky and side of hand still numb and who knows what I did to my right hip, it was already screwed up before the fall.

Thanks. When use my board method I really don’t have time to text or post. Here is a simple explanation of what I do. Be advise that I take it a step further with those 4 horses comparing them to horses with higher odds than they are.

Reading the Exacta Board
1.Start with the current board favorite, usually around 10 minutes to post time.
2.Reading across, note the smallest payouts and also note the current board odds on those horses.
3.Starting with the board favorite cross check exacta price’s with the other 4 lowest exacta horses and note which ones are less than $10 apart when compared to each other.
4.Also note the horse with the highest board odds of the lowest four exactas to the favorite. For example looking at the board favorite and the four lowest prices are 21,18,19,25, note which of those four horses sticks out as the highest board odds. Example 5/2, 3-1, 7-1 and 7/2,, then I would start to pay attention to the horse with the 7-1 odds and consider using him as a 2nd key in my exotic bets and maybe as the main key if I can toss the favorite based on the closeness of the exacta prices to those other exacta horses. Usually when I see the board favorite close to two of those horses in the exacta, the horse doesn’t win but may still get into the exotics.

Here’s an example from Northfield Park I sent to my friend. Be advised neither one of us plays the trots so no pp’s required. See next post.

If you follow what I wrote: looking at the #9 I see the 2-4-6 are the lowest exactas. At that moment in time the 4 was 7/2 while the 2-6 were 6-1 each. 9 was 3/5, woo hoo! Based on the exacta comparisons I tossed the 4 and if they beat the 9 it should be the 2 or 6.
They ran 6-9-4-2. See results below. I don’t play the trots but nevertheless my method works!!!

And Mitch 44 said I was not a serious handicapper.

Omar
You have my sympathy and my prayers. I spent 2.5 years trying to get a shoulder
working properly...have taken some falls but just landed the right way.
Well hopefully things will be getting better for you..

Only one suggestion. Learn to advocate for yourself with the health folks. By the time someone advocates for you, the instance of the situation will likely be over.
