WO #2:
The 5 and 8 figure to be in front in around 24.3 48.4. They've both had the lead sprinting as well. I think the race will go OTE. My contenders are the 3, 4, and 9. The 4 has run well against a 24.1 and 24.0 but does not have much of a power move. The 9 has a good race against a 24.2 and against a 48.4 at 1 1/8 miles. The 3 has shown good moves from the 4th and 5th position against a 24 and from the 4th position against a 49 at 1 1/8 miles. The 3 is my choice to win the race. Will post on CBY and TDN later. Tim |

WOOD 2
5 and 8 are Early 5 can maintain a 1 lgth lead at 24.4 49.3 113.3 145.3 Any Pressers? Only 4 wants to run 3rd against today's pace. 4 is loser of 3 tandems and is usually passed after chasing. 2 is Sprinter going route. Is fast enough to have the lead at the Str. But, Runstyle would place 2 4th. I'm thinking that is enough energy conservation to make it the rest of the way. All the rest are S closers that want to fight to remain in 7th. They'll need a faster pace than today to be considered. Two horse win bet on 5 and 2. |

Woodbine Race 2
Looks like I won't get the triple today because I have come up empty handed in the first leg.

CBY #5:
Every horse except the 2 is early here. The 6 showed way back that he can run from off the pace but the preponderance of the evidence indicates early on the 6. The 2 has won 3 in a row which is a bad Hat sign. But, they have been trying to get this horse back on the turf. There were two rainouts at AP. This horse has huge fractions from the half mile to the 5 f pole in previous turf tries. There will be no price (if he wins) but I put the race up, so I'll play him. The 2 is my choice. Tim |
