RSSS is so easy even a caveman can use it.

Friday at the Big Apple I got 7 out of 8.

1st $4.10
2nd $30.40
3rd $9.10
4th $4.80
5th $11.60
6th pass
7th $4.50
8th $3.80
9th lost. (If I would have used my head and had a little gamble in me I would have had this one too @ $45.40)

Hey, did Ted give you that turbo RSSS version of RDSS?! Not fair.

Nice job, boss. These are still 2 horse bets for you?

We're getting too old to use our heads & gamble! Now that you got the new AC, what's the next goal? Again, very nice going.

I'm pretty sure you're exporting raw but are you picking the pace lines or letting one of the RDSS modes do it? Also, are you taking the full impact of both the TM dtv and itv? Thanks. Lou

Lou,

Yes these are two horse bets.
When the short price one misses there is always the $30 one.

When I export I export raw.

I use the Ted's recommended settings.

Energy gets more winners than RDSS at the end of a 20 race cycle but is definitely not as easy for me to use.

The real key is in pace line selection and that is a learned ability (and at a dear price I must say).

If anyone just uses common sense they could win with RDSS and make a living with it.

I don't try the exotics as the win bets are solid.

Sometimes I question the TM variant stuff but overall they seem to work OK.

Turf,

I bet the top two VDC. #1 and #2 or both #1's if there are more than one.
To bet something other than the top three VDC is not good for your health.

Froggy: So you're using RDSS and the VDC to make the betting selections now? I thought you were still exporting and using Energy as the selection tool. I can see where Energy would be tougher to use.

Just confirm for me that you're now using RDSS as the tool to select bets and you're not exporting anymore.

Even if the win % is a bit higher in Energy, if RDSS is easier for you and the bottom line doesn't suffer too much, that's terrific.

BTW, I still think the KEY for me is CONTENDER selection, but pace line mix is important. Even with the proper contender mix, a couple of winners have not been so easy to get in EXDC depending on the pace line chosen. Problem is, pace line choice in these cases was not cut and dried. You're right - experience is more critical than a mechanical pace line method, ALTHOUGH, I'm still not so sure than doing it per Doc's guidelines wouldn't work out as good over time.

Nice work Froggy

seeing you are just looking for # 1 and # 2 VDC
Have you seen and won with any
Binder improvers

with your line selection and contenders I bet you get some nice ones

Lou,

Like right now I have aqueduct downloaded and have already gone over the race card and checked the pace lines.
I must wait until the scratches become available and lately that has been around 8:10 am my time but sometimes later.

Then I go thru the race card again and get it down to 5 and ties, print and export and then go through the same thing with energy.

I usually have both print printouts with me.

By then I have less than an 45 min to get to the book and claim a seat.
If I time it so that I get there about 5 min to first post then I have to sit in the smoking section for the next 4 hours.

Some days I just want to do things the easiest way I can, thats all.

Thanks Froggy. It's a shame what's going on in Arizona. I remember those days when I waited on line before the track opened to get a good seat in the Santa Anita clubhouse. Unless I happened to have borrowed a turf club pass to get me in before the crowd, I'd be running up the stairs after I got through the gate racing the crowd to get the seat!
