Top 2 Win bets vs Pick 3

Has anyone successfully 'altered' their style using RDSS to tackle pick 3's? I would imagine one would have to include some favorites along the way, as 1 in 3 races on average are won with chalk... Was thinking of venturing into pick 3's again, but I know you cannot blindly use the methodology for pick 3 success.

Pick 3

The Sartin methodology Guidelines are to
bet pick 3's 3 horses per leg or 3 x 3 x 3

I have won a few using this method

I think the real profits in pick 3 bets are races were you
beat the favorite in at least two legs

or can beat a real big favorite in the last leg

Richie once got a group of us a $600 plus
pick 3 at the Meadowlands with a single horse in leg 3
that paid $41.00

Anyway your records of getting the winner in three races in a row
is the key
