Clockwise Racing

The introduction of the “Euro Turf Series” at Woodbine kicks off on Friday June 10th, with the horses running “clockwise” on the turf course for the first time. Race 1 is a Starter Allowance for $25K, and limited to 8 starters, offtrack will be run counter-clockwise, should be interesting.

Our old friend Indiscreet Cat runs in race 4 on Friday, they look to be stretching him out for the first time as well as giving the Turf course a shot for the first time.

Hi Hoof
Race 4 , besides the ML favorites the 1-1A entry there is not much in this race
Indiscreet's last few LPR ratings are kind of low for a turf horse .
But he is in with a few others with no turf races. I wish Mike well,

I agree Bill, i believe they are setting him up for a cutback, if Mac takes him to the lead you know what their intentions are. His Dam was successful on the Turf, so maybe he will take to the course.

This race is loaded with question marks, and i’m not convinced that the 1-1A combo can walk away with this seeing that they ran peak efforts last time out, mind you the layoff should help. The 3 looks interesting to me, he looks to put up a peak effort today while showing some game in an allowance race last time out, lacked room through the stretch while closing while finishing just over a length back, dropping down today and is exiting a key race along with the 9.

The 6 and the 2-2B combo are my other contenders, while they seem unlikely today they all showed something last time out and all have the ability to close, but the pace scenario does not suit the 2-6 and you can’t underestimate DaSilva on the Turf.

Projected Pace – 23 – 47 – 1:11

Selections – 1-1A-3
