Charlie:

Good to see you post again. Just curious. How are you getting enough info, i.e., what sources are you using to get either times or positioning data in your part of the world? I am ignorant largely to what is available, having only seen what is reproduced here for foregn runners. I thought Timeform numbers were the only thing available.

Hi Bill And Bill

Turftrax data is available for the bigger meets in UK

http://www.turftrax.co.uk/tracking-technologies.html
http://www.britishchampionsseries.co...al-timing.html

Turftrax Data is being made available for Glorious Goodwood which starts on Tuesday 30th July

If Turftrax is not availble, i can DIY sectional times where furlong markers can be seen.

Trakus data is avaliable for Meydan

http://www.dubairacingclub.com/race/...o/trakus-chart

And sectional data is available for some tracks in Australia like Moone Valley, Flemington etc

Thanks Charlie:

Been kinda planning a 6-7 week trip next year to take in a few sporting events, French Open, Wimbledon, British Open, Ascot perhaps, Silverstone and any other events that might be interesting.

Good info to know. I will knock you up as time gets closer.
