Hi Jeebs

I lost money in the stock market big time and later my health really went downhill. The key is let God takeover, it works. I like Psalm 91 in the Bible. Check it out.
Wish the best for you Jeebs.

Tim,

There's no need for me to add to the excellent advice that's already been given. But I would like to say that I've enjoyed your posts, quite entertaining and informative, and wish you a speedy resolution to your difficulties.

"A man's got to do what a man's got to do." (Not sure John Wayne actually said that, but it sounds good.)

Warm regards,

Hi Jeebs.

There's nothing to be ashamed of.
You were smart enough to realize the problem.
Now, you have to take a step back.
You have nothing to prove.
Your first obligation is to your family and to yourself.
They say that in this life sh_t happens.
Ask me and I'll tell you. I've been there and done that.
There are a few of us here that have been down that road.
I wish you the best in your recovery.

It has been awhile, but I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support. My mind has been in a much more relaxed state and I am enjoying other things in life. Last weekend, I went up to my in-laws camp with my family and was completely oblivious to the Belmont Stakes (I knew it was that day, but it wasn't a priority to me) until my sister-in-law asked if I would be watching the race just moments before it went off. Ever the racing fan, I tuned in just as the gates opened, watched and continued on with my day. I enjoyed swimming, boating and eating on the veranda while having quality time with loved ones. Father's Day weekend will consist of bringing my son to his kids sports activities, perhaps a trip to the amusement park, breakfast with my family and my dad on Sunday and a concert at SPAC. I'll be busy.

To the fine handicappers on here, keep on keeping on!

Sounds like you are doing a lot better. Keep enjoying that time with you family. There will be plenty of time to get back to the horses if you so choose.

Stay the course with a sustained drive and you'll succeed. Enjoy those kids as they grow up fast and your family.

Dear Jeebs

Thank you for the nice update. I am so happy you are doing well.
Those memories of a beautiful day with your family and friends can not
be equated to the short-term excitement of winning a horse race.
The art of living a full life is the most important goal we should always
strive for.

Stay strong my friend
God bless you and your family
