Tim
Certain readouts are very powerful . Any of the readouts with
Total in the name are very predictive Total Energy Total Pace Potential Total speed also FX and The VDC and I think Deceleration althouh I'm not going to project an opinion on that readout because I don't have any valid testing I can refer to The follow up does have valid testing on the others. So until we can get some I will comment on these. Balance is the last one I feel works best % Med parameters by track/ distance will help you eliminate horses I think some kind of pace line notation function on RDSS would be a great help The best way I can say to eliminate horses is to hide horse based on your records that are rated well on BLBL but have, before hides readouts that are not strong in the "Total" readouts. and I still say I hardly ever get winners rated poorly on the VDC readout ( in Val 4 ) Good Skill Bill V. |

Val 4

Yes every once in a while I use the Dos version of Val 4 just to stay sharp Kind of like an old favorite tee shirt Sometimes it just feels right . I use RDSS in the Val 4 mode. The readouts are very very close to the readouts in Dos val 4 The spec mode is better for most people Just from the amount of races done with the dos programs compared to the windows RDSS. I find it much more easy to use The dos version once in awhile Its nice to break out OLD BLUE once in awhile but the readouts are the same or very very close when using RDSS in Val 4 mode Bill |
