After the Poker Player scratch, a little different look.

Still like Shared Belief on top, but with Tamarando and Rankhasitsprivileges as the other two in my box. A little hard to gauge the 12 but it closes strongly and the Ded race will never come up due to track configuration. The horse that beat him wired field and could be special later on.

Box 6x2x12 with 6 on top of 2 and 12.

I doubted, but...(sing along)
Now I'm a Believer!!!

That, my friends, was a treeemendous run by one very fine horse.
Whoever Jim Rome is getting his advice from sure nuff tabbed a good one there.
Top contender in a good class.
And my readouts were right again. I'm getting a complex.

Until the final speed figures come in thru the wire...

A lot of hoopla like most Derby years, so far this one, Shared Belief is like Verranzano.

(ImHo) Inputted his Cash Call paceline adjusted for the first Saturday in May 2014, against previous Derby top contenders....Visuallly impressive performance but against a soft early pace fractions of 46 and change and 1:11 and change....Until this one improves his hidden fraction ability, Shared Belief will not make my final contenders list.

Hollendorfer planning to have two prep races prior to the Derby dance....it is still a long road to the first Saturday in May 2014....

Good skills

Hollendofer must have seen something in that Mdn. win at Golden Gate as
it looks like a different owner at that time. Anyone know
how much they paid to acquire?? Being a gelding maybe
the price wasn't sky high.

I could probably look it up as I think I received the story via Bloodhorse. However, just seems like I remember it being in the neighborhood of 385K. Caveat: I get so many of these alerts I could easily be confusing it with another.
This isn't Jim Rome's first horse racing rodeo. He has had a couple real nice horses previously.
