Lone Early Example - PEN

These screen shots relate to a discussion tangential to paceline discussion in another Topic (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5602). Here's a Lone E (visual and Energy distribution) exemplifying the adage: "Horse racing is an easy game. One horse gets the lead and if no other horse can pass it, it wins".

The Chart from the winners previous race. It helps to confirm that it was worn down by another Early horse not returning today. Thus, it can slow down on the lead today, with no one else challenging it.

The Result: easy lead, slower times, great mutuel despite low Total Energy last.

Ted,
Good discussion on pace line selection. I like to post a screen shot of my take in this race.
CFR= the best of last 2 races regardless of the finish lengths off the winner
PCR= Fastest race in horse chart that finished 5 lengths or less of winner
VP= Value percentage point based on horse attributes in his chart
TVP= PCR+VP
TPF= Total of horse's attributes
WK= Works
TI= Trainer Intent attributes
PP= Horse's Premium attributes
HP= Horse's Hight Percentage of attributes
QLY= Quality of attributes
PT= Points
FR= Final Ratings
Neg= Negative horse's attributes

My contenders would have been 1-3-5-6 selecting different lines.
#3 has one of the strongest attributes in the game. Odds dropped 50% from 2 races back for no apparent reasons.
