Hi everyone,
you are right with Pardubice. I watched the races in the last years. There are sometimes 25 runners and only three or five finish the race. There was a news report some years ago about this. A German trainer said, that many trainers bring unfit horses to the races. I do not like to play jump racing, but it is very famous in France and Britain. I was on many racetracks in France and there it is very seldom, that a horse fell. Many jockeys pull the horses up when they are tired. In Britain, where the purse money is often not so high this is not the case. But it is not cruelity there. It is very seldom as well there, that a horse die. It is more a problem of the structure of racing, but jump racing is more dangerous, that is for sure. The main problem are the trainers, who send out the horse who can not jump. Greetings Tim |
