Exclamation Working Again!?

Please - I request everyone to test RDSS again (current version) with the TwinSpires settings set back to ON (Get Tote, Get TS Ratings).

After testing this evening, it appears everything is working again as before: Tote, Scratches, TS Ratings (Prime Power, ProfitLine), MTP.

I will be doing a lot more testing myself tomorrow, and I can't promise this will be consistent or what will need to be done about it. But if you enjoyed those aspects of RDSS, please test whether you can resume using them.

Ted

Ted,

My current version is 2.2.2023.65. Why does RDSS suggest an update to 2.2.2020.22?

Thanks Ted, for all your help and hard work. Everything seems to be working well again here in Colorado.

Pook

That RDSS Desktop Update notice button is ineffective in the current version since I relocated downloading the RDSS Installer to TrackMaster's servers. It will resume intended effectiveness in a new update soon.

TwinSpires via VPN

One issue reported with TwinSpires - maybe not even be related to this recent problem - is that when you run RDSS with some VPN connections to the internet, TwinSpires will still reject RDSS access. (VPN = Virtual Private Network, for security or masking your actual location).

We tested this because one user was still having RDSS/TS access problems, yet when we turned the VPN OFF entirely, the problem went away.

This may not apply to ALL VPN access, but it did for VPN access provided by MacAfee Security software (and we tried various VPN geo-location settings).

Bottom line going forward - if you still encounter the 'not responding' or 'spinning wheel' slow-down - try checking if you are running your internet access through a VPN, then try turning that VPN setting OFF.
