Off turf adjustment in RDSS - Pace and Cap

While at Woodbine last weekend, Ted showed me something that I might have stumbled onto eventually, but who knows? Whenever a race is washed off the turf, you can alter pacelines and statistics with a simple adjustment.

Go to the "Card Summary" screen and right-click on the "T" in the "Surf" column. (There's actually a tool tip that a more observant person might have noticed.) This brings up Distance and Surface drop-down boxes which allow you to select the new distance and surface for the race. Click "Update" and each horse's pacelines and statistics will be changed.

If I knew how to insert an image, I would, but I don't so I won't.

Regardless, it's really easy.

Amazing what you can learn with a little effort.

Here I have right-clicked on the "T" for the 8th race at SAR on August 18. (BTW this race not taken off the turf but the image was handy so I used it.) With the drop-down boxes you can change the distance and surface as mentioned above.
