%Med Vs. %Early
I was a Sartin member back when we ran Phase III on a Sharp Handheld Computers... Anyway, I remember how we modeled %Early as both a horse factor and a track factor. Later we switched over to %Med for both Factors.
I've been going through the Matchers Forum and was observing all of the fine detail devoted to the concept of Early and how you have to start Matching Up from Early, very Early if you want to employ the power of the Match Up. Is it possible that the best way to model & Match Up the track & horse energy requirement is in using %Early... And, is it also possible that the best way to measure a horses current form cycle is through %Med? The crazy things you think about in the shower. Comments welcome. |
