Hi Al just got back in. R4 was another of these 7.5 turf races which have been a big pain to cap. In the case of the #2 I used line 6. Since this was a n2l using the mdn made sense since I knew the horse had won at this bastard dist. Here is what contenders and pacelines looked like for the race.

#10 L7 BEST OF THE LAST 3 ROUTES DISREGARDED THE 5F TURF
#11 l1 MDN WIN @TB BEST OF THE 2 ROUTES. THE 6F TURF WAS UGLY.

Tim; Thanks for your input. I was concerned about overlooking a former turf route runner that had no clocking in recent turf races. As it turned out, it was not as issue.
