Getting Google instead of Trackmaster
When I click on the Trackmaster icon on the Data Center page in RDSS, I'm taken to the Google home page. Is it that one of my cookies has gone crazy?
Not that it matters, I forgot my password and have to wait to call them. I didn't notice until your post that we are up to $2.00 per card on a pay-as-you-go basis and I want to upgrade to a regular subscription pronto. Last edited by clore1030; 03-07-2009 at 01:03 AM. Reason: typo |

Charles,
I have noticed in the past 2 months or so (and undoubtedly as a result of either a Windows Update, or a newer version of Firefox or Internet Explorer), that web-links within RDSS now do not go directly to the expected page, but rather only to the Browser home page -exactly as you report. This must be a new and added security constraint of either Windows or of the Browser software. Not the first time that something which has been working forever, now decides to stop I will replace all the embedded web links in RDSS with calls to the built-in RDSS web browser (i.e. similar to what is used to contact the BRIS SuperTote page, or display Result Charts downloaded from TrackMaster). Here is a collection of TrackMaster URLs I use regularly: My Account Information: https://www.trackmaster.com/cgi-bin/my_acct_entry.cgi RDSS Race Cards currently available (Note: don't use this link to download from - use it only to confirm that a particular card is/is not available, if you doubt the RDSS Data Centre listing): http://www.trackmaster.com/perl/client_list.cgi?rdp Sign-up for PP Only data plan: https://www.trackmaster.com/cgi-bin/register.cgi?rdp Sign-up for PP+Charts (Bundle) data plan: https://www.trackmaster.com/cgi-bin/register.cgi?rdb Charles, the RDSS Pay-as-you-go rate for single PP Only cards has always been $2.00. That rate drops to $1.50 per, when you buy 20 per month for $30. The older format TMPP files used by Validator and Speculator now cost $1.50 each. You can update your plan yourself, by going to the above link (or talk to them directly). All the best today! Ted

Was it always two bucks? I don't even look at the statements, i should change that MO in these days of identity theft.
I did switch over this morning to the 20 races/30 days plan. It makes the most sense for me since I rarely work other tracks. Good luck to you on your wagers, 5 minutes to go for the Toboggan. |
