BTW ranch, to the best of my knowledge Ted is programing this for the user to decide the number of days to consider. I myself would not set it at 40 days however to each their own and their beliefs.

One will be able to determine where the underline will be set on the workouts, so the user will be drawn to the workouts above the line. Something Ted is presently working on which may not be in the next update but definitely in a future update.

Today I played 3 tracks, CD, GP, WO and 26 races using the new W/O %. And made a nice profit of $$174.41. Played both win and Ex. The best hit came in the 11 at CD My two horses were # 9 & 11. The 9 won paying $ 54.34 and the $ 1.00 EX paid $ 100.79 for a $1 bet.

Corollaries were CR 4th, CSR 1st, BLBL 1st, V/DC 1st, RX2 1st, RX3 2nd, all 1's in Supp. line score. It was tied (top2) % W/o since last race and a new Top.

As I said previously back in the 1960's there were no factors like today. A player had to read the Racing Form like a trainer to see if the horse was properly placed. As Beyers and other Sartin Factors became know the racing world came into the era of instant gratification and the art of proper placement and form fell by the wayside.

Along came Ray Taulbot with his angles and form factors. Using his Pace Calculator back then, his angles and form factors were added to his Pace Figures. Added to proper contenders only. Then came Scott form factors which I never used however LT1 has been using them for a very long time and presently still does.

These were fine back then because there was only one track and no simulcasting like today. You had plenty of time to employ them and in between races also. By today 's standards they are cumbersome to use and time consuming plus prone to mistakes.

This new angle W/O % is fast as its already programmed and easily incorporated into your overall analysis.

I tried to put up some screen shots of this $54.34 winner to no avail. It was beaten by 25 lengths in its last race. Horses just don't go in and out of form that quickly. The reason for the bad race was the trainer tried to stretch it out in a route. If you looked at its internal running of the route, it ran faster than its previously 6 F race. Today it goes back to a 6F race and since its last race runs a top workout. No doubt its sharp and ready. In racing money follows money, a heard mentally exists, or the stable is just not a betting stable. Regardless this one got away at a price it shouldn't have.

Those that just look at or only choose the last line are at a disadvantage. Review and confirm your lines. Analyse the form of your contenders. Ask, if you were the trainer of this horse would you have entered it in this race? When a horse runs a good race and then a poor one, figure out why. Start with the comment remarks for the race and then look at Dis, surface and proper class. Anytime you can forgive a race you're running loose on the lead and out in front of the other bettors toward success.

I almost never use a line where the horse lost by more than 14 lengths.

It is still a trainer game, but I think the data on the horse can tell us when the trainer has intent. We don't necessarily have to track the trainer.
