BEL9
From a 22.2/45 set by the three early horses 1,3 and 10, I see OTE. The most competent of those for me are 2,4,6,8. Closest to the pace of those are 2,8 just edging out 6 which ran well against the FPLR but may be too far back. 2,8 WIN Pook |

the speed horses are on the inside and the closers towards the outside. I think the 2 will try to set it up for his stablemate. therefore I am looking for a very fast pace and the race to go OTE. I think the best closers are 6 and 8.
#6 Stallwalkin Dude #8 Ami's Flatter both to win.

There's not a lot of speed in this race. The 1 and possibly the 3 will run early in something like 22.3 45.0. I don't trust routing speed in a sprint. I don't think either early horse can win. I'm looking OTE for a horse that can run well against that kind of a pace and can execute strong internal fractions. I arrive on the 8.
In his last he was in an 11.3 between the half and 5f not losing any ground. Then, 4 back against a 22.3 and 24.2, he made a real power move. The 8 is my choice to win the race.

To paraphrase Clark Gable, "Frankly, my dear, I don't know."
My play, however, is #4 to Win and Place. I see the contenders as #2, #4, #6 and #8. Lots of early, so I see OTE. My pick is chalk and has to move forward. mick Last edited by mick; 10-29-2016 at 05:20 PM. |
